Synagogue & Community Event DJ Los Angeles
Full-Production DJ & MC for Synagogues, Federations & Jewish Organizations
Full-Production DJ & MC for Synagogues, Federations & Jewish Organizations
Synagogues, JCCs, federations, and Jewish community organizations across Los Angeles trust On Air Productions LA for events that need more than a DJ — they need a production team that's culturally fluent, dependable, and comfortable in a room full of rabbis, donors, honorees, and multi-generational families. Led by Israeli DJ Gilad Emesh, we bring that fluency to every gala, fundraiser, holiday program, and community celebration we produce.
Planning a family Bar or Bat Mitzvah rather than a community event? See our Bar Mitzvah DJ in Los Angeles page.
Our community-event work spans galas and building-fund fundraisers, Yom Ha'atzmaut and Israel-celebration programs, holiday events, and community concerts. We work hand in hand with event committees and clergy to build a run of show that respects the organization's tone, whether that's a formal evening with speeches and honoree tributes or a high-energy Israeli celebration meant to fill the dance floor.
Production is where we go beyond music: LED video walls for presentations, sponsor recognition, or live performances; stage design and uplighting that elevate a banquet hall or sanctuary social space; and full AV so every speaker, video, and performer is heard clearly. Add a Hebrew-English MC who can move naturally between languages for a mixed audience, and your organization gets one team handling the entire production, front to back.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you produce events for synagogues and Jewish community organizations?
Yes. On Air Productions LA regularly works with synagogues, JCCs, Jewish federations and community organizations across Los Angeles on galas, fundraisers, holiday programs and community concerts. Led by Israeli DJ Gilad Emesh, we bring the same cultural fluency and production quality to a community event as we do to a wedding or Bar Mitzvah.
Can you handle Yom Ha'atzmaut and other Israel-celebration events?
Yes — this is an area we especially love. From Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) celebrations to Israeli culture nights and community concerts, we curate authentic Israeli and Hebrew music, coordinate programming in Hebrew and English, and can build out full LED and stage production to match the scale and spirit of the celebration.
What kind of production do you provide beyond DJ and music?
For synagogue and community events we typically provide a complete package: DJ and Hebrew-English MC, LED video walls for presentations, sponsor recognition or live performances, stage design and uplighting, and professional AV so speeches, honorees, and performers are heard clearly throughout the room.
Do you MC in both Hebrew and English for community programs?
Yes. DJ Gilad Emesh is a native Hebrew speaker, at home in both Hebrew and English, and comfortable running programs — from formal galas with a run of show to more casual community celebrations — that move naturally between both languages for a mixed audience.
Can you work within a synagogue's or venue's own AV and event guidelines?
Absolutely. We coordinate closely with clergy, event committees, venue staff, and any in-house AV or facilities team ahead of time, so our sound, lighting, and staging fit the space and respect the organization's own protocols, whether that's a Shabbat-adjacent timing consideration or a specific room layout.
What areas of Los Angeles do you serve for synagogue and community events?
We serve synagogues, JCCs, and Jewish organizations throughout Los Angeles, including Encino, Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Studio City, and the greater San Fernando Valley and Westside.
