DJ and MC Questions
What is the difference between a DJ and an MC at an event?
A DJ manages all the music — mixing tracks, reading the crowd, and controlling energy levels throughout your event. An MC is the voice of your event — making announcements, guiding guests through key moments, and keeping the celebration flowing seamlessly. On Air Productions LA offers both, together.
Who will DJ my event?
We match a DJ from our team to your crowd, your music and your date, and confirm who it is when we plan the event together. Our DJs, Israeli DJ Gilad Emesh among them, are all trained to the same standard.
Do you offer MC services in Hebrew and English?
Yes. Our MCs host in Hebrew and English, so every guest can follow the program at Israeli and Jewish celebrations where both languages are part of the night. Israeli DJ Gilad Emesh of On Air Productions LA is a DJ and an MC in Hebrew and English.
Do you have Latin DJs and Spanish-speaking MCs?
Yes. Our team includes Latin DJs for Latin and Mexican weddings, quinceañeras and parties, and Spanish-speaking MCs who host in Spanish or in Spanish and English. We match the DJ and the MC to your event and confirm them with you when we plan it.
How do the DJ and MC work together at an event?
Our DJ and MC work in sync — the MC cues the DJ for entrances, toasts, and key moments while the DJ provides the musical backdrop. This seamless coordination creates a professional, polished event experience.
What can I expect from an On Air Productions DJ and MC team on my event day?
You can expect punctual setup, professional presentation, and careful execution from start to finish. Our team arrives early for sound checks, coordinates with your venue and vendors, and adapts in real time to keep your event running smoothly.
