How Packages Work

A DJ and MC at the Center — Everything Else Built Around It

Every On Air Productions LA package starts with a DJ and an MC, then adds exactly what your celebration calls for: live saxophone, violin, drums, darbuka or bouzouki over the DJ, a live singer for the ceremony, a trio for cocktails, dancers for a Bar Mitzvah, an LED wall, lighting or a photo booth.

You don't choose from a fixed menu. Tell us the date, the venue and the feeling you want, and we put together the team and the combination — planned with you, and run on the night by the same people.

Because every package is different, every package is quoted individually. Contact us for a personalized quote, and get it in 30 minutes.

How a Package Comes Together

  1. Step 1

Tell us the date and the venue

A short call or form: the celebration, the guest count, the traditions that matter and the feeling you want in the room.

  2. Step 2

    We propose the team

The DJ, the MC and any live musicians, dancers, LED wall or lighting that fit the night — a combination built for you, not a fixed menu.

  3. Step 3

    One planning session

The timeline, the songs for each moment, the Hebrew and English announcements and the do-not-play list, all in one place.

  4. Step 4

    The same team runs it

The people who planned it run it on the night, with one contact for the venue and your planner.

Common Questions

DJ & Entertainment Packages — FAQ

What is a DJ and MC package?

A DJ and MC package covers both jobs of the night: the music, and the hosting — the entrances, toasts, blessings and announcements. It is the starting point of every On Air package, for weddings and Bar or Bat Mitzvahs alike.

Can the DJ also be the MC?

Both ways work. On some nights the DJ handles the announcements too; on bigger ones — a large Bar Mitzvah or a long wedding program — an MC leads the room while the DJ stays focused on the music, in Hebrew and English either way.

Can we put a DJ and live musicians in one package?

Yes. A saxophone, violin, live drummer, darbuka, bouzouki or a live singer can perform over the DJ's sets, and a trio or band can cover cocktails and dinner before the DJ takes over.

Can a package include an LED wall and lighting?

Yes. An LED wall behind the booth or stage, uplighting, moving heads, a monogram on the dance floor and effects such as cold sparks can be part of any package, set up and run by our own crew.

Do you have Bar Mitzvah packages with dancers?

Yes. The DJ, MC and dancers package adds party motivators who lead the games, contests and line dances — strongly recommended once there are 30 or more kids — and choreography for the grand entrance can be arranged on request.

What does a DJ package include?

Every package includes the DJ, the sound system and wireless microphones, lighting for the dance floor, and the planning of your timeline and music. The wedding and Bar Mitzvah package pages show the two starting points for each celebration.

Can the same team cover the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception?

Yes. Ceremony sound and music, a solo musician or trio at cocktails and the DJ and MC for the reception can all be one package, so the music moves from one part of the day to the next without a gap.

How much does a DJ package cost?

Each package is built around your date, venue, hours, guest count and the combination you choose, so there is no one price. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Do you have packages for corporate events?

Yes. Corporate packages combine a DJ or live music with sound, microphones, LED walls, lighting and staging for galas, launches and holiday parties.

Do you travel outside Los Angeles?

Yes. We're based in Los Angeles and travel with our own team and equipment to Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, the San Francisco Bay Area and Las Vegas.
