Born and raised in Israel, Gilad Emesh arrived in Los Angeles carrying a deep, firsthand knowledge of Israeli music, culture, and the traditions that make Jewish celebrations unlike anything else in the world. He founded On Air Productions LA in 2005 with a single, uncompromising mission: to deliver the most authentic, culturally connected, and professionally excellent event entertainment Los Angeles had ever seen.

Nearly two decades later, that mission has been fulfilled at over 1,000 events — Israeli weddings, Jewish celebrations of all denominations, Persian-Jewish Simchas, corporate galas for Fortune 500 companies, and private parties for some of Los Angeles' most prominent families. DJ Gilad has performed at the Hotel Bel-Air, Four Seasons Beverly Hills, Calamigos Ranch, Vibiana, Terranea Resort, and at private estates throughout Bel Air, Holmby Hills, and Malibu.

What distinguishes DJ Gilad from every other entertainment professional in the city is the combination of authentic cultural authority — he is a native Hebrew speaker who grew up inside the traditions he celebrates — and full-service production capability. On Air Productions LA is not a DJ with a speaker. It is a complete production company: LED video walls, laser shows, live drummers, live bands, cold sparklers, custom stage design, and professional sound engineering, all coordinated under one team.
