Bar Mitzvah LED Wall & Lighting Las Vegas

Name walls, LED dance floors and lighting, one team

Bar & Bat Mitzvah · Las Vegas

A celebration that looks made for one kid — because it is

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah has two audiences in one room: grandparents who came for the blessings and the candle lighting, and a crowd of friends who came to dance. The production has to honor the first and win over the second, and in a Las Vegas ballroom, screens and light carry much of that weight.

On Air Productions LA builds the LED walls and lighting for Las Vegas Bar and Bat Mitzvahs around the celebrant: a custom name wall with their name or logo, candle-lighting screens that show each honoree's photo, game screens for the MC to run the kids' activities, an LED dance floor with a matching LED DJ booth, moving-head fixtures over the floor, wall-to-wall uplighting, and clear sound for the blessings and speeches. The DJ & MC, who can host in Hebrew, English or both, belongs to the same team, so every cue lands where it should.

Our crew travels from Los Angeles with its own equipment — to a Strip resort, a Henderson hall or a Summerlin home — and travel is already inside one clear quote. We plan with you by phone and video call, and the written run of show is sent to your planner and the venue — and to the resort's in-house AV team when there is one.

What We Provide

Every screen and light, built around the celebrant

Custom Name Wall & LED Backdrop

The name wall is the signature of a modern Bar or Bat Mitzvah: a full LED wall behind the DJ or the dance floor showing the celebrant's name, logo or theme, animated in time with the music. Because it is a screen rather than a printed sign, it changes through the night — welcome visuals at the door, a montage during dinner, motion graphics once the dancing starts.

We build the content with you from the theme, colors and photos you choose, scale the wall to the ballroom and to the distance from the nearest tables, and keep an operator on it for the whole celebration.

  • Name or logo animated to the music
  • Theme colors carried through the room
  • Indoor or daylight-bright outdoor panels
  • Ground-stacked or flown on truss

Candle-Lighting Visuals & Photo Montage

Candle lighting is the most personal part of the evening. Each honoree is called up with a photo on the screen and their own song, while a pin spot or a soft wash marks the candle table. We build the sequence with you in advance, so the MC, the music and the screen move together with no pause while someone hunts for the next file.

The montage — baby pictures through to today — gets the same care: timed, tested on the actual wall before guests arrive, and played back with the sound balanced for the room.

  • A photo and a song for every honoree
  • Light focused on the candle table
  • Montage tested on the wall in advance
  • Cues shared with the MC ahead of time

Game Screens & Kids' Activities

Games are where the kids' side of the party is won. With game screens, the MC puts trivia about the celebrant, scoreboards, dance-off brackets and countdowns on the LED wall in real time, so every kid in the room can follow along — not only the ones standing nearest the DJ.

  • Trivia, scoreboards and countdowns on screen
  • Run live by the MC
  • Readable from every corner of the dance floor

LED Dance Floor & LED DJ Booth

Every step on an LED dance floor sends light through the surface, and it can carry the theme colors or patterns that pulse with the beat. Add an LED DJ booth styled to the name wall, and the dance area becomes a stage the kids want to be on, and it looks striking in photos taken from the edge of the floor.

  • A glowing dance floor in the celebrant's colors
  • LED DJ booth matched to the screen content
  • Sized to the guest count and the room

Moving Heads, Dance-Floor Lighting & Uplighting

Moving-head fixtures on truss sweep beams and color across the floor and pick out the celebrant during the entrance. Wireless uplighting washes the walls in the theme colors, pin spots light the centerpieces, and the whole rig shifts from a calm look for the blessings and dinner to full energy for the party.

  • Moving-head lights on truss
  • Wireless uplighting in the theme colors
  • Pin spots for the centerpieces
  • Separate looks for blessings, dinner and dancing

Sound for the Blessings & Speeches

The parents' speech, a grandparent's blessing, the celebrant's own words — these are the moments families replay for years, and each relies on a microphone that works the first time. We provide wireless handheld and lavalier mics with spares at hand, a PA balanced so the adults can still talk at their tables while the kids get a dance floor they can feel, and a sound engineer watching the levels all evening.

  • Wireless handheld and lavalier mics
  • Sound balanced for adults and kids
  • A sound engineer at the console
  • An audio feed for the videographer

Grand Entrance & Effects

The entrance sets the tone for the whole party: the lights drop, the name wall flashes, the music hits and the celebrant walks in. Haze helps the beams show, and cold sparks can frame the moment — always within the venue's rules, which we confirm with the resort or hall well ahead of time.

  • A lighting and screen cue for the entrance
  • Hype video on the LED wall
  • Haze and cold sparks if the venue approves
  • Rehearsed with the MC and the family

Cocktail hour for the adults

A softer look in a separate space, with a welcome slideshow and background music, while the main room is finished and the kids' area is set.

Private-home & outdoor celebrations

For a celebration at a private estate or on a patio, an outdoor LED wall that stays readable in daylight, weather-aware lighting, and sound that carries for your guests.

Planning Guide

How to plan Bar Mitzvah LED and lighting in Las Vegas

Pick the theme first

Colors, a logo or a theme — sports, travel, a favorite hobby — decide what goes on the name wall, the dance floor and the uplighting. Share it early and everything is designed around it.

Forward the venue's guidelines

Ask the resort or hall about in-house AV, haze, cold sparks, rigging and load-in, then send their requirements to us. We coordinate with them directly from there.

Start collecting photos

Candle-lighting photos and the montage take longer to gather than most families expect. Begin a few weeks out, so there is time to build them and test them on the wall.

Write the candle-lighting list

Names, order and a song for each honoree. With that list, the MC, the music and the screen can be cued as one sequence.

Size the screen and floor to the room

Room size, ceiling height and guest count decide the name wall and the LED dance floor. Seating close to the screen calls for a finer pixel pitch; a large ballroom needs a wall big enough to read from the back.

Book early around conventions

When large conventions are in town, Las Vegas ballrooms and loading docks are busy. Locking the date early makes the load-in easier for everyone.

Common Questions

Bar Mitzvah LED Wall & Lighting Las Vegas — FAQ

Is an LED screen worth adding to a Bar Mitzvah?

In most cases, yes, because one wall does the work of several things. It carries the name or logo, the candle-lighting photos, the montage, the game screens and the dance visuals, and it gives the celebrant a finished backdrop for every photo. And in a big resort ballroom, it fills space that décor alone would leave empty.

What is a Bar Mitzvah name wall?

A name wall is an LED screen, usually placed behind the DJ or at the head of the dance floor, that shows the celebrant's name, logo or theme in large animated graphics. Unlike a printed sign, it changes through the night — welcome visuals, candle-lighting photos, the montage and motion graphics for the dancing.

What can be shown on the LED wall at a Bat Mitzvah?

Almost anything you can prepare: the name or logo, theme graphics, a welcome slideshow, a photo for each candle-lighting honoree, the montage, a hype video for the entrance, game screens and scoreboards, a live camera feed of the dance floor, and visuals that move with the music. An optional live VJ can mix the visuals in real time.

What's the difference between an LED dance floor and dance-floor lighting?

They do different jobs and work well together. An LED dance floor lights the surface itself in the theme colors and patterns; dance-floor lighting — moving heads, beams and haze on truss — fills the air above the floor with movement. If you choose one, the room size and the ceiling height usually decide, and we will recommend what fits.

How many uplights does a Bar Mitzvah ballroom need?

The count follows the room: its perimeter, its columns and the height of its walls. A synagogue social hall needs far fewer than a large resort ballroom. We plan it from the venue's floor plan and photos, so the theme color reaches every wall without dark patches.

Can you use cold sparks and haze at a Las Vegas venue?

Haze and cold sparks are each venue's call — some approve them with conditions, others say no. We confirm the rules with the resort or hall in advance and plan the entrance around what is approved.

Can you set up at a Las Vegas resort that has its own in-house AV?

That is the resort's decision, and policies vary by property. Where an in-house AV department is in place, we reach out to it well ahead, send our plan and gear list, and settle power, rigging and load-in times together — so the day itself holds no surprises.

Does the LED wall come with an operator?

Yes. An operator runs the LED wall all evening from the same run of show as the MC, so the name wall, the candle-lighting photos, the game screens and the entrance video appear exactly when they are called.

Will you come from LA for a Las Vegas Bar or Bat Mitzvah?

Yes. The whole crew comes from Los Angeles, bringing its own gear, to the Strip, Henderson, Summerlin or wherever in the valley the celebration is, and travel is part of one clear quote. Planning happens by phone and video, so there is no need to meet in person before the day.

How much do Bar Mitzvah LED walls and lighting cost in Las Vegas?

The quote is built from your celebration: how many guests and how big the room is, the dimensions of the name wall, any LED dance floor or LED DJ booth as well, how much lighting and which effects, the content we build, the hours, and anything the venue requires. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Do you also provide the DJ and MC for the Bar Mitzvah?

Yes — the DJ & MC is part of the same team, and the MC can switch between Hebrew and English for the family, so the hora, the candle lighting, the games and the dance sets are cued together with the screens and the lights. Live musicians, such as a drummer for the hora, can be added.
