DJ & Live Singer Los Angeles
A Live Vocalist Fronting the DJ Set — The Showstopper Upgrade
A Live Vocalist Fronting the DJ Set — The Showstopper Upgrade
A live singer performing with the DJ is the showstopper. At On Air Productions LA the DJ controls the energy and the flow while a genuine live vocalist sings over the set, fronts the dance floor and brings the one thing a track never can — a human voice in the room. It turns a DJ booth into a live show.
This is a real duo with real vocals. Our roster includes soul, pop and Israeli/Mediterranean singers who read the DJ and the room — jazzy and warm through cocktail hour, powerful over house and dance at peak time, tender on a featured moment. You choose how much live vocal you want, from a few featured songs to a full live-and-DJ show, and the DJ and singer rehearse the flow so every handoff is seamless.
One team, one sound system, one booking — and it stacks. Add a saxophonist and a percussionist and you've built a full live band feel around the DJ, all from On Air Productions LA. Serving weddings, corporate events and private parties across Los Angeles.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a DJ and live singer combo?
A live vocalist performing with the DJ — singing over the set, fronting the dance floor, and turning a DJ booth into a live show. The DJ controls the energy and the flow; the singer brings the human voice and the goosebumps. It's the showstopper upgrade for weddings, cocktail hours and upscale parties.
What can the singer perform?
Soul and pop over open-format sets, jazzy and acoustic-leaning numbers for cocktail hour, powerful house and dance vocals at peak time, and Hebrew/Israeli and Mediterranean songs when the moment calls for it. Our roster includes genuine live vocalists, so you're getting a real voice, not a track.
When during the event does the singer perform?
Wherever it hits hardest — an elegant cocktail hour, a first-dance or featured moment, or fronting the dance floor at peak time. You choose how much live vocal you want, from a few featured songs to a full live-and-DJ show, and the DJ and singer rehearse the flow so every handoff is seamless.
Is it one booking or two vendors?
One team from On Air Productions LA. The DJ and singer arrive together, share one professional sound system, and have performed together — no coordinating two vendors, no risk of them not clicking on the night.
Can we add a saxophonist or drummer to the singer and DJ?
Yes — that's how you build a full live band feel around the DJ. A singer fronting a DJ set with live sax and percussion is a complete show, and it's all one team, one booking from On Air Productions LA.
How do we book a DJ and live singer in Los Angeles?
Call On Air Productions LA at (310) 200-1134 or send an inquiry with your date and venue and we'll match the right DJ and vocalist to your event.
Can we book a DJ and singer for our wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes — a DJ and singer can cover your whole wedding, with the singer taking the ceremony, a cocktail-hour set and the first dance, and the DJ running the reception's dance floor. The singer can come back over the DJ's sets when the party peaks, and an MC hosts the entrances and toasts so the DJ and singer stay focused on the music.
What is included in a DJ and live singer package?
A DJ and live singer package is built around the DJ and an MC, with the singer added for the moments you choose: the ceremony, cocktail hour, the first dance or live vocals over the dance sets. Saxophone, a live drummer, an LED wall, lighting or a photo booth can join the same package, and every package is quoted individually. Contact us for a personalized quote.
Can an Israeli singer perform with the DJ?
Yes — a live Israeli singer such as Ofek Ben Harush can sing Hebrew and Israeli songs over the DJ's Israeli and Mizrahi sets. Earlier in the evening the same singer can perform at the chuppah or through cocktail hour, and DJ Gilad Emesh, an Israeli-born DJ who works in Hebrew and English, can play the set beside him.
Does a DJ and live singer work for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah?
Yes — at a Bar or Bat Mitzvah the singer can perform for the adults' cocktail hour and add live vocals to the DJ's Israeli and dance sets. An MC hosts the grand entrance, the candle lighting and the hora, which leaves the DJ and the singer free to focus on the music.
Do you bring a DJ and live singer to San Diego, Las Vegas or San Francisco?
Yes — the DJ and the singer travel as a pair with our team to weddings and events in San Diego, Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area. They bring one shared sound system, so a celebration far from Los Angeles gets the same live-and-DJ show.
