Sound System Rental Las Vegas

PA, speakers, wireless mics and an engineer for every room

Event Sound · Las Vegas

Every word heard, every beat felt — in ballrooms, halls and by the pool

Las Vegas rooms are hard on sound. Resort ballrooms are vast and often split by air walls, convention halls echo, and a pool deck has no walls at all to hold the music in. Renting a sound system here means choosing speakers for that exact space — and having someone at the console who adjusts as the room fills.

On Air Productions LA delivers complete event audio across Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin: PA systems and speakers, subwoofers, line arrays for large audiences, wireless handheld and lavalier microphones, podium mics, and a sound engineer on a digital mixing console from doors to close. Our crew travels in from Los Angeles for every event, bringing its own speakers, mics and console, and the travel is folded into a single, clear quote.

Before the day, we coordinate with the venue — and with the resort's in-house AV team where there is one — so power, load-in time and any volume limits are settled early. We also write the run of show and share it with your planner and the venue, so the vows, the toasts, the keynote and the first dance are cued long before anyone picks up a microphone.

What We Provide

Sound sized to the space — from a terrace dinner to a convention ballroom

PA System Rental

A PA system has one job: put clear sound in front of every guest at a comfortable level. For a terrace dinner that might be two powered speakers on stands; for a divided resort ballroom it is a planned layout of main and fill speakers. We choose and aim each one from your floor plan, so the sound is as even at the farthest seat as it is at the head table.

  • Powered speakers for dinners and receptions
  • Fill and delay speakers for long or divided rooms
  • Every speaker placed on your floor plan
  • Tidy cable runs and low-profile stands

Line Array Rental & Large-Audience Audio

When the audience runs into the hundreds — a general session, a concert-style party outdoors, a gala with a stage show — a line array throws sound farther and more evenly than stacked speakers. The front rows stay comfortable while the back of the hall still catches every word.

  • Line arrays for large rooms and outdoor stages
  • Even coverage from front to back
  • Ground-stacked or on truss, as the venue allows

Speaker & Subwoofer Rental for Dancing

Dance-floor energy lives in the low end. Subwoofers set around the floor give the music weight where people are dancing, while the speakers facing the dining tables stay gentler so conversation carries on. In resort ballrooms we strike that balance within the venue's volume guidelines.

  • Subwoofers sized to the dance floor
  • Separate levels for dancing and dining
  • Volume kept within the venue's guidelines

Wireless Microphone & Lavalier Rental

Handhelds for the toasts and the MC, lavaliers for the officiant, the rabbi or a presenter who walks the stage, podium mics for a lectern — we plan each microphone from your program, coordinate the wireless frequencies, and keep spare mics and fresh batteries at the console all night.

  • Wireless handheld mics for speeches and the MC
  • Lavalier mics for officiants and presenters
  • Podium and lectern microphones
  • Spares and batteries kept at the console

Ceremony & Outdoor Sound Systems

A ceremony on a lawn, a terrace above the city lights or the water's edge at Lake Las Vegas needs its own compact system: a lavalier for the officiant, a mic for the vows and music for the processional. Outdoors and by the pool, we aim the speakers toward the guests, plan the power ahead, and allow for desert wind, which carries sound away quickly and rumbles across an unprotected mic.

  • A separate ceremony system with an officiant mic
  • Music for the walk down the aisle and back
  • Battery-powered options where outlets are scarce
  • Windscreens and wind-aware speaker placement

Sound Engineer, Mixing & Corporate Audio

An engineer at a digital mixing console is what turns rented speakers into a finished sound system. Ours sets a level for each speaker before they reach the podium, mixes live bands and singers with their own monitor mixes, fires walk-in music and award stings on cue, and sends a clean feed to the livestream or the videographer.

  • A digital mixing console run for the whole event
  • Live mixing and monitor mixes for performers
  • Playback and cues for conferences and award shows
  • Clean audio for livestream and recording

For Every Kind of Event

Sound system rental for Las Vegas weddings, mitzvahs, conventions and pool parties

Weddings & ceremonies

Ceremony audio under the chuppah, clear mics for the blessings and the toasts, and a reception system that carries the hora and every dance set — with an MC working in Hebrew and English when the families need both.

Bar & Bat Mitzvahs

Microphones that let every word of the blessings and the candle-lighting land, game audio ready the moment the MC calls for it, and dance-floor sound with real weight that stops short of overwhelming the family tables.

Corporate meetings & conventions

Presenter and panel mics, playback for videos and walk-ups, speakers for the breakout rooms and an engineer at the console for the entire agenda — coordinated with the resort's in-house AV team where the venue has one.

Pool parties & daytime events

Speakers aimed across the pool deck rather than out over the property, weather-aware equipment, power planned in advance, and sound that holds up in open desert air from the afternoon into the night.

Galas, awards & fundraisers

Walk-in music, the host's mic, award stings, the auction and the after-party, all cued from a single show call that keeps the evening tight and lets the whole room hear every name.

Private parties & live music

A PA and monitors for a band or a singer, an engineer who mixes the set, and a smooth switch over to the DJ — for birthdays, anniversaries and celebrations in homes, estates and private dining rooms.

Planning Guide

Choosing a sound system for a Las Vegas venue

Guest count sets the scale

How many people will be listening tells us how big the system should be; the space decides the layout. A hundred guests on a patio, 250 in a divided ballroom and 600 in a convention hall each call for a different rig.

Map the room — air walls, ceilings, open sides

Resort ballrooms are often split by movable walls, convention spaces run long, and pool decks have nothing to reflect sound at all. Send us the floor plan and we mark every speaker on it.

Count the microphone moments

Note everyone who speaks or sings, and when: the officiant, the parents, the keynote, a panel of four, a singer during dinner. That sets the number of handheld and lavalier mics, with spares on top.

Plan for wind and heat outdoors

Open desert air lets sound drift away, and wind can rumble across a microphone. Outside, we point the speakers at the guests, fit windscreens, and plan power and shade for the equipment.

Ask about the venue's AV requirements

Resorts with an in-house AV department usually have their own rules on power, load-in times and volume. We talk with them early so every point is agreed before the event.

Book well clear of big conventions

When a major show is in town, ballrooms, docks and hotel rooms fill quickly. Securing the date first keeps the load-in simple; the details of the system can be tuned later.

Common Questions

Sound System Rental Las Vegas — FAQ

Do I need a sound engineer for my wedding in Las Vegas?

If anyone is speaking, singing or reading vows, yes. An engineer sets each microphone's level before the speech begins, stops feedback before guests notice it and keeps the music balanced through dinner and dancing. Every On Air sound rental in Las Vegas includes one, at the mixing desk until the final dance has ended.

How many speakers do I need for 100, 200 or 500 guests?

The room matters as much as the number. Around 100 guests on a terrace can work with two powered speakers; 200 with dancing typically adds subwoofers and fill speakers; 500 in a ballroom or convention hall usually calls for a line array or a planned main-and-delay layout. We work it out from your floor plan.

What is the difference between a PA system and a line array?

A standard PA uses individual speakers on stands — right for dinners, ceremonies and mid-size rooms. A line array stacks several elements in a vertical column so sound travels farther and stays even across a large audience. We use whichever suits your room and guest count.

Wireless handheld or lavalier microphone — which do I need?

Handhelds suit toasts, the MC and anyone passing the mic along. A lavalier clips to clothing and leaves the hands free, which suits an officiant, a rabbi under the chuppah or a presenter moving around the stage. Most events use both.

Do I need a separate ceremony sound system in Las Vegas?

When the ceremony and the reception happen in different places — a lawn, a terrace, a separate garden — a small dedicated system is the cleanest answer: a lavalier for the officiant, a mic for the vows and music for the processional. If both take place in one room, a single system can cover it.

Can you provide sound for an outdoor or pool party in Las Vegas?

Yes. We choose equipment that copes with heat and weather, point the speakers at your guests rather than across the property, fit windscreens on the mics and plan power ahead, using battery-powered gear where the site has no outlets. Volume follows the venue's rules.

Can I bring an outside sound company into a Las Vegas resort?

Often the resort runs its own in-house AV department, and the rules differ from one property to the next. Our first call is to the venue's event and AV contacts, to learn exactly what they allow and to settle power, load-in and any conditions before you commit — nothing is taken for granted.

What is included in a sound system rental?

Delivery, setup and a full sound check; speakers and subwoofers for your space; wireless and lavalier mics with spares; a digital mixing console; a sound engineer for the entire event; and teardown afterwards. Coordination with your planner, venue, band and DJ is part of it.

How much does a sound system rental cost in Las Vegas?

It depends on the guest count, the size and layout of the space, how many areas need sound, the number of mics, whether the event is inside or outdoors, the venue's load-in rules and the length of the event. Our travel from LA sits inside the same proposal. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Do you travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for sound rentals?

Yes — every Las Vegas event is staffed by our own Los Angeles crew, traveling in with our own speakers, mics and console, whether the venue is on the Strip, in Henderson or out in Summerlin. Planning happens over phone and video calls, and your planner and the venue receive the same written run of show.
