Spanish-Speaking MC in Los Angeles

Weddings, quinceañeras and parties, hosted in Spanish

MC en Español · Los Angeles

An MC who speaks to your family in their own language

When half the room grew up speaking Spanish, the night feels different if the person holding the microphone does too. On Air Productions LA offers Spanish-speaking MCs for weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays and company celebrations across Los Angeles, together with our Latin DJs, so the announcements, the toasts and the laughter reach every generation at the tables.

You decide how the two languages share the night. Some families want the whole program in Spanish; others want the entrances and the toasts in both languages and the rest in English, or a warm welcome in Spanish for the grandparents' table before dinner. We settle that with you ahead of time, along with every name, every title and every pronunciation in the program.

It all comes from one team: the MC, a DJ who knows a cumbia crowd from a bachata crowd, sound for the ceremony and the dance floor, lighting and LED. We match a Spanish-speaking MC and a DJ to your event and confirm who they are when we plan the night together.

What We Provide

What a Spanish-speaking MC takes care of on the night

Spanish-Speaking MC for Latin and Mexican Weddings

At a Latin wedding the MC carries the evening from the cocktail hour to the last song: introducing the padrinos and the wedding party, calling the couple in for their entrance, inviting each toast and opening the moments the family has waited for. With an MC who speaks Spanish, the tías hear their names said properly and relatives who flew in from abroad follow every word.

Many families carry their own traditions into the reception, such as la víbora de la mar on the dance floor or a hora loca late in the night. Tell us which ones you are keeping, and the MC and the DJ give each one its moment and its song in the timeline.

  • The padrinos and the wedding party introduced by name
  • Entrance, first dance and toasts announced in Spanish, English or both
  • La víbora de la mar and the hora loca cued with the DJ
  • Pronunciations checked with you before the day

MC for a Quinceañera, with the Program in Spanish

A quinceañera runs on a program, and the MC is the one who keeps it moving: the court of honor coming in, the vals with her father and her chambelanes, the changing of the shoes, the last doll, the toast and the surprise dance her friends have rehearsed for weeks. Each of those moments needs its cue, its music and the right few words.

We write the order of the evening with the family and with the quinceañera herself, deciding who speaks, in which language, and which song plays under each moment. Then the MC follows it, so her parents can stop watching the clock and simply enjoy her night.

  • Damas and chambelanes introduced with the court
  • The vals, the changing of the shoes and the last doll cued
  • The surprise dance announced with its own entrance
  • An order of the evening written with the family

Spanish, English or Both: Planning the Language of the Night

The right mix depends on who is in the room. A family where everyone speaks Spanish may want no English at all, while a wedding that brings a Spanish-speaking family together with an English-speaking one usually works best with short announcements said once in each language, so nobody sits through a long translation.

We agree on the plan line by line before the event: which announcements are in Spanish, which in English, which in both, and how a toast is introduced when the guest giving it will speak in the other language.

  • Short lines in each language instead of a long translation
  • A written language plan for the whole program
  • Each toast introduced in the language of the person giving it

A Latin DJ and a Spanish-Speaking MC, Planned as One Team

The MC and the DJ work as a pair. When the MC calls a moment, the DJ is already on the right song: a cumbia that brings the grandparents onto the floor, bachata for the couples, reggaeton and current hits when the younger guests take over, and the English-language favorites everyone else is waiting for.

On Air offers Latin DJs as well as Spanish-speaking MCs, and both are planned with you from the same timeline, so the announcements, the music and the energy of the room move together.

  • Cumbia, salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, banda and Latin pop
  • Open-format music for every generation
  • The DJ and the MC planned from one timeline

Birthdays, Anniversaries and Company Events Hosted in Spanish

Not every celebration is a wedding. A milestone birthday, an anniversary, a baby shower or a company party for Spanish-speaking employees and clients also goes better with a host who welcomes the guests, introduces the speeches and runs the games in the language most of the room is comfortable in.

  • Welcomes and speeches hosted in Spanish
  • Company events for Spanish-speaking teams and clients
  • Games and dance-floor moments run from the microphone

Planning Guide

How to plan an event with a Spanish-speaking MC

Decide the language split early

Tell us roughly how many guests are more at home in Spanish and how many in English. That one estimate shapes the entire program.

Send names and titles in writing

Padrinos, damas, chambelanes, grandparents and everyone giving a toast, spelled out with a note on how each name is said. Families remember that detail.

Keep every announcement short

Two short sentences in each language hold a room better than one long speech followed by a translation, and guests stay with the MC.

Tell us which traditions you keep

La víbora de la mar, a hora loca, the last doll, a special dance with the grandparents: each needs its song and its moment, and some need chairs, space or a second microphone.

Plan the music with the languages in mind

A DJ who reads a Latin crowd moves between cumbia, bachata and current hits without losing either side of the room. Share your must-plays and the songs you never want to hear.

Book the MC and the DJ together

When both plan from one timeline, the announcement and the song arrive together. Guests notice the difference, even if they cannot say why.

Common Questions

Spanish-Speaking MC in Los Angeles — FAQ

Do you have a Spanish-speaking MC in Los Angeles?

Yes — On Air Productions LA offers Spanish-speaking MCs for weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays and company events across Los Angeles and Southern California, together with our Latin DJs. We match the MC to your event and confirm who it is when we plan the night with you.

Can the MC host in both Spanish and English?

Yes — the program can run entirely in Spanish, entirely in English or in both, and we agree on the plan with you one announcement at a time. For a mixed room we keep every line short and say it once in each language rather than translating long speeches.

What does an MC do at a quinceañera?

The MC runs the program: introducing the court of honor, calling the quinceañera's entrance, announcing the vals, the changing of the shoes, the last doll, the toast and the surprise dance, and keeping each moment on time with the DJ. We write that order with the family before the day.

Do you write the quinceañera MC script?

We write the order of the evening with you: which moments happen and when, who is introduced, the song for each moment and the language of every announcement. The words themselves stay natural and short, built from the names and stories your family gives us.

Do you offer Latin DJs as well?

Yes — our Latin DJs play cumbia, salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, banda and Latin pop alongside open-format hits, so every generation dances. The DJ and the MC are planned together from one timeline.

Can you MC a Mexican wedding with its traditions?

Yes — tell us which traditions your family is keeping, such as la víbora de la mar, a hora loca late in the night or toasts from the padrinos, and the MC and the DJ build each one into the timeline with its song and its moment.

What is la víbora de la mar?

La víbora de la mar is a traditional Mexican game played at many weddings. The couple stands on chairs and holds up a veil or their joined hands like a bridge, and a line of guests winds under it to the music, trying to unsettle them while family members keep them steady. We plan it with the MC so the chairs, the space and the song are ready.

What is a hora loca?

A hora loca, the crazy hour, is a high-energy stretch late in the reception at many Latin American weddings, often with costumes, masks and noisemakers. If you are planning one, the DJ builds the music for it and the MC opens it, so it starts on cue and lifts the whole room.

How much does a Spanish-speaking MC cost?

It depends on your date, the hours, whether you book the MC on their own or with a DJ, the size of the event and what else you add, such as lighting or an LED wall. Every event is quoted individually. Contact us for a personalized quote.

How far ahead should we book a Spanish-speaking MC?

As soon as your date and venue are set, and especially for Saturday dates, which fill first. Booking early also leaves time to plan the program and the split between Spanish and English together, without a rush in the last weeks.

Do you travel outside Los Angeles?

Yes — we are based in Encino, Los Angeles, and travel with our own team to Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, the San Francisco Bay Area and Las Vegas. Send us your date and venue to check availability.
