The house

White stucco, warm stone and blue doors

The Blue is the kind of house you remember by its color: cobalt doors and window frames against white plaster and warm stone, flower boxes at the windows, lavender wherever you walk.

It sits behind a private, hedge-lined drive, on just under an acre of garden: a 9,260 sq ft lawn and garden planted with purple sage, agave and grasses, with sculptures set among them. Pergolas shade the stone terraces, and hanging baskets spill over their beams.

The pool and its spa sit right outside the French doors, with a built-in grill station beside them. Up on the roof, a 900 sq ft deck looks out over the canyon and the mountains. Under the old trees, a sunken fire circle with a built-in bench gives the garden a place to gather as the light goes.

It is a house for long afternoons that turn into evenings: brunches and garden parties, cocktails on the roof, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah with the kids by the pool and the family under the pergola.

The celebration

Bar and Bat Mitzvahs at The Blue

A Bar or Bat Mitzvah needs room for two parties at once, and The Blue has it: the 1,730 sq ft pool patio and the garden for your child and their friends, the pergola terraces and the roof deck for the adults, and the lawn for everyone when the hora starts.

Our team can produce the whole celebration if you'd like: the DJ and an MC in Hebrew and English, the grand entrance, the candle lighting and the games, for up to 250 guests. Quiet hours begin at 10 PM, so we plan the candle lighting and the hora well before then.

If you'd like

The whole night, one team

The house is yours to fill as you wish. If you'd like, On Air Productions LA brings everything else, planned around the estate and its music hours, with one team and one timeline from the first guest to the last song.

  • DJ and MC

Music read from the room, and an MC in Hebrew and English to carry the evening.

  • Live music

Saxophone, violin, a singer or a darbuka over the DJ's set, for the ceremony or the dance floor.

  • Sound and lighting

Sound designed for terraces and lawns, and lighting that turns the house itself into the backdrop.

  • LED and full production

LED walls, staging and the production behind them, run by our own crew.

Entirely optional. You're welcome to hold your event at an estate without any of our entertainment.

An estate celebration is a different investment than a ballroom — and a different kind of night.

Every estate is quoted privately. The address is shared once your inquiry is confirmed.

On Air Productions LA hosts events at these private estates in collaboration with their owners. Every event is subject to the estate's house rules and local permits.
